Although I haven't posted for some time, progress had not completely stopped , just slowed down. I'm planning to fit the engine and gearbox between Christmas and new year so I have been focusing on preparing the engine.
I was lucky enough to go on holiday to the States recently where I picked up some ARP bolts for the engine. These have been fitted. I have also fitted stainless over braid to the vac hoses and fitted my MSD distributor

I have also fitted the transmission to the engine.
The billet slave from Repower has been fitted but required a 5mm aluminium spacer behind it to get the angle to the release arm correct

Finally I have managed to fit the radiator and the cooling fan.
The upper braces have been a nightmare to fit because their angle doesn't match the inner wing and now that they are chrome plated they are difficult to modify.
I over came the problem in the end by fitting wedged spacers under the arms on the radiator and small rubber bobbins at the other end.
