The hose marathon continues.
Last weekend I fitted the 2nd heater hose from the inlet manifold to the bulkhead. Finished the hoses off with a couple of Earls billet clamps

Next was the vacuum hose from the carb to the brake servo.
I spent a long time trying to find a route that pleased me but sadly failed.
In the end I decided there was no choice but to pass the hose through the bulkhead and route the majority of it behind the dash.

I took pictures of the hose underneath the braiding in the hope that it will satisfy the IVA examiner.
Next was the fitting of the oil pressure gauge sender and the oil warning light sender. The T piece I bought wouldn't fit due to the proximity of the inlet manifold to the take off point. To overcome this I had the T piece machined down so it cleared the manifold (thanks Pete)
The final task of the weekend was to fit the heater valve.
The use of Speedflow connectors meant I had to find a location away from the standard position of the stubs poking through the bulkhead.
The valve as supplied by Dax doesn't have any easy way of fitting it do I bought some 15mm pipe supports and made up my own mounting bracket.

To attach the cable assembly to the heater valve proved challenging and involved me making my own clevis from an old door handle centre spindle
The whole assembly is fitted under the dash by the passenger's right hand leg.
I suspect the heating will not be adjusted much but I don't like the thought of not being able to turn it off if the needs arise.

The whole mechanism looks quite awkward but i am hoping with the dash fitted it will not be noticeable. I will connect up the hoses next week (hopefully)
