My ebay purchased A frame easily lifted the unit off the pallet it had arrived on and the Clarke levelling adjuster allowed the combined unit to be horizontal.
Shaun and Josh arrived to give a hand and the following pictures show the procedure.
Suspecting my non standard mountings we changed them for the original ones that came with the engine. This gave us more adjustment but the gearbox wanted to be in the same position as before.
A quick search on the forum over lunch revealed that the prop needs to be a straight as possible, so back went on my chrome mounts.
The prop-shaft was a bugger to fit and required one of the cap head bolts being ground down on 1 side to get it to fit.
