The last few weeks have been frustrating will almost no progress on the car.
For 3 weekends I haven't been at home and this weekend which was supposed to be

I have bought a bearing to replace the rubber bush dax supply that will be fitted to the footwell face.
The lower column shaft is a strange size and I was unable to get a bearing to fit exactly. I didn't want the shaft to run offset in the bearing so i used some shim steel to pack out he shaft in the bearing

I have also been investigating different ways of making the harness exit from the body look professional.
I have bought some chrome plated brass marine glands which I might use on the bulkhead and I have bought some fire wall wire ports from Summit which I am planning to use for the alternator branch and starter motor branch.

Above is the fire wall port held in position by double sided tape to help decide position.
The wire will have a stainless sleeve fitted once everything is finalised
