After 2 weekends in bed trying to recover from a winter bug, I thought I would try one of those jobs that should only take a couple of hours .... fitting the near side side pipe.
I have decided to fit it level with the chassis and far enough away from the body to get my fingers in.
I had already cut a rough hole through the body for the collector but needed to mark the body to give me a 10,mm clearance the whole way around.

I had to modify the brackets supplied by Dave Brookes in order to get the exhaust outlet at 90 degrees to the ground.( I needed to move the bobbin)

Above is the finished article. I just need to fit some self tappers to hold the various sections together and get the correct stainless bots and nuts to hold the rear bracket to the body and ....... do it all again on the other side.
